Wide receiver Davante Adams is letting out his frustrations as the Raiders are 0-3 to start the season

The Las Vegas Raiders made an upgrade to their offense this offseason by trading for wide receiver Davante Adams, sending a package that included first-round picks to Green Bay to acquire him. With the addition of Adams, it gave Derek Carr another weapon in the offense.

But through three games, the Raiders are 0-3 and the frustrations are starting to come out.

Following Sunday’s loss in Tennessee, Adams expressed his frustrations with how the year has gone for Las Vegas. And he doesn’t sound too happy.

“Both. Frustrated and angry. Expect more,” Adams said via Sports Illustrated. “It’s not easy to win in this league. We know that. Nobody’s naive to the fact that nobody’s just going to lay down and just give you a victory, but at the end of the day we expect more and we will do better as we move forward.”

Through three games, Adams has 17 catches for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns with the Raiders, scoring in each game so far. But the production overall for the offense needs to be higher and the Raiders know that, specifically Adams.

With weapons like Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, there’s no excuses for Derek Carr and the offense to be this bad. Things need to be fixed and done so in a hurry or the Raiders will not be able to dig themselves out of this hole in a tough AFC West division. In order to do that, they need everyone on board to get better and improve their game.

Because if they don’t, it’s going to be a long year in Sin City for first-year head coach Josh McDaniels.
