The Las Vegas Raiders had good news on their injury report for rookie tight end Brock Bowers. The Raiders first-round pick suffered an injury in the Raiders’ second preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Bowers hurt his foot during the game. Head coach Antonio Pierce would keep him out of practice the next week. Bowers missed the Raiders’ final preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Per the Raiders injury report released on Wednesday, Bowers was a limited participant in practice. That’s a good sign for his availability to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The Raiders need Bowers’ impressive pass-catching skills to be on display Sunday for quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Per the injury report, the Raiders have six other players dealing with injuries in Week 1. However, only three players, including Bowers, were limited participants in practice. The other four players were full participants in practice. The Raiders had no one out of practice on Wednesday.

  • CB Decamerion Richardson, hamstring, limited
  • LS Jacob Bobenmoyer, abdomen, full
  • OT Kolton Miller, shoulder, full
  • LB Robert Spillane, LB, back, full

The Raiders have two more days of practice. They’ll release their final injury report on Friday. So far, so good for the Raiders as far as injuries go for Week 1.
