Las Vegas could be one of the homes for the Big Ten football championship game per a new report
The Big Ten has a rich history in both football and basketball over the years and now the conference is going through a bit of an overall. Over the past two years, the Big Ten has added USC, UCLA, and most recently Oregon and Washington.
With the additions of those four programs, the Big Ten is taking over the PAC-12 landscape, and that includes Las Vegas.
According to a report on Sunday, the Big Ten is in talks to move the football conference championship game to Las Vegas:

The game has been held in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium since 2011, with it being right in the middle of Big Ten country. But now, a move to Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium would be huge in terms of planting a flag in the city.
Per the original report from Des Moines-based radio show “Miller and Condon”, the game would not permanently be in Las Vegas but instead would rotate between there and Indianapolis.
“This is happening quick,” Miller went on to say. “Apparently the Big Ten offices, Big Ten commissioner, whoever is in charge of that, is getting real close to signing off on the Big Ten Football championship moving from Indianapolis for at least a couple of years.”
