Davante Adams is reportedly giving Patriots defensive backs fits in joint practices this week
The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots are hosting joint practices before their preseason finale in Sin City this Friday, allowing both teams to get extra reps in against an actual opponent. And so far in these joint practices, wide receiver Davante Adams has stood out according to reports.
Adams is reportedly giving Patriots defensive backs fits at practices with his route running and ability to make plays:
Davante Adams just burned Jack Jones for a long touchdown in 11-on-11s. Let him hear it afterward, too, celebrating by throwing the ball

He’s not the only one either…
Hunter Renfrow is having a day, too, so far in 1-on-1 and 7-on-7 red zone drills. They're tough to contain even without Waller out there. https://t.co/z2Q2msKWHi

It’s just one practice between the two sides but it’s hard not to get excited about what Davante Adams can bring to the Raiders. With quarterback Derek Carr getting another big weapon, this offense could take that next step forward.
And if that happens, the Raiders have another shot at making a playoff run.
