Will Portillo’s expand to Las Vegas soon?
The city of Las Vegas might be getting a little Chicago touch added to it in the form of a classic chain restaurant. On Thursday, popular Las Vegas video content creator Jacob Orth tweeted out that Chicago-based Portillo’s is looking to expand into Sin City.
Orth tweeted out the report on Thursday afternoon signaling that the company was looking to expand to the area for the first time. If true, it would be a huge addition to the city food-wise.
Another chain restaurant may expand to Vegas.

Per KSNV, investors have brought up Vegas and other cities for expansion:
Executives with the company said during an investor event this week that Las Vegas is one of three top markets with “latent demand” for the Portillo’s brand, along with Denver and Atlanta.
Portillo’s is a very popular chain based out of Chicago that serves up classics like hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers and shakes among other items. In the past, it has expanded out of Chicago including landing in Arizona.
But with Las Vegas on the horizon, it could be going further West.
There’s no timetable or anything else on it other than they are looking to expand. However, this is something to monitor for you food lovers.
