In her first season a head coach, Becky Hammon has taken the Las Vegas Aces to the top of the WNBA.

With the win on Sunday, the Aces have captured the 2022 WNBA title, besting the Connecticut Sun 3-1 in the Finals. The Aces took a 2-0 series lead early before wrapping up the series with a 78-71 win over the Sun in Game 4.
