The Raiders have signed a linebacker as training camp rolls on
The Las Vegas Raiders are adding a piece to their defense here early on in training camp.
On Monday night, the team added linebacker Darius Harris per Pro Football Talk. Harris’ agent, Kevin Conner, of Universal Sports Management, announced the move as Harris comes in looking to compete for a job.
The #Raiders are signing former #Chiefs LB Darius Harris, his agent Kevin Conner of @UniSportsMgmt confirmed. Harris, who spent four years with KC, played all 17 games last season with four starts, including one against Vegas in which he had 10 tackles and a sack.

The former undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019. He missed his rookie season with an injury but did play 28 games in the next three years. That included 17 last season, while making six starts.
The Chiefs did not make a qualifying offer to Harris back in March, which made him an unrestricted free agent for the new league year. It took a little bit but Harris has now found a new home in the league just ahead of the 2023 season.
In three seasons, Harris recorded 58 total tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
The Raiders will continue training camp before opening up the preseason on August 13th. They will host the San Francisco 49ers as fans get their first look at the team.
