Kamaru Usman gets knocked out at UFC 278 in stunning fashion by Leon Edwards
The UFC has a new Welterweight title holder thanks to a stunning KO from Leon Edwards to beat Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.
After a back-and-forth bout between Edwards and Kamaru Usman, it looked like we were headed for a decision by the judges to settle the fight. That would have benefitted Usman to retain his belt but in stunning fashion, Edwards had other ideas.

The win for Edwards snaps Usman’s 15-fight UFC winning streak, one shy of Anderson Silva’s UFC record. It also made him the first Jamaican-born fighter to win a UFC title. And it certainly came in an unexpected fashion.
With the result, it’s very likely we get a rematch between the two soon. But for now, Edwards can celebrate what was one of the biggest upsets in UFC history.
