Foreman is an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas State. He has no stats for the preseason. If he clears waivers, the Raiders plan to add Foreman to the injured reserve list.
The Las Vegas Raiders signed a linebacker
Per the Raiders statement, the team signed linebacker DaShaun White:
White, who played with the UFL’s Michigan Panthers earlier this year, originally entered the NFL as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills in 2023.
A native of North Richland Hills, Texas, White played five years at Oklahoma and was a four-year starter for the Sooners. He played in 63 career games with 49 starts, totaling 259 tackles (126 solo), 19.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. He earned All-Big 12 honorable mention honors in 2022.
The Raiders are giving White the No. 47 uniform to wear.
DeShaun White will have to make a quick impression on the staff
The transaction was announced two days before the Raiders play their final preseason game on Friday night. The Raiders will play the San Francisco 49ers. It’s unclear if White will play against the 49ers.

White will have less than a week to prove to head coach Antonio Pierce’s staff that he deserves a spot on the team. White is unlikely to make the 53-man roster when the team makes their final cuts on Aug 27. However, White could impress the staff enough at practice to earn a spot on the practice squad this season.
