Davante Adams had a very interesting quote about former quarterbacks he’s played with
The Las Vegas Raiders enter Monday night’s battle with Green Bay at 1-3 and in search of potentially saving their season with a win. This hasn’t been the start the Raiders have envisioned but a win at home on Monday could change a lot of things.
Before Davante Adams gets ready to face his former team for the first time, he offered up some praise for his quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. And Davante Adams gave him the edge over his former quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr.
In an article by Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, Adams had an interesting quote about Garoppolo:
“Jimmy’s an easy guy to work with because he’s one of the best that I’ve been around at any position, let alone quarterback, of taking accountability,” Adams said. “Not taking anything away from Derek and Aaron, but Jimmy does a good job of not coming in acting like he knows everything. He’s open to suggestions and me talking through ways that I’ve done in the past.”
That’s not a shot at Rodgers or Carr by any means but more just praise for Garoppolo. However, it is interesting reading that and especially the part of Jimmy not acting like he knows everything.
We do know that Davante Adams wanted out of Green Bay for reasons and that’s how he landed in Las Vegas. Did Rodgers’ attitude or anything like that impact it?
