Davante Adams responds to comments from Desean Jackson
Over the past few weeks, there have been rumors that Davante Adams is not happy with the Las Vegas Raiders as he gets set to enter year three with the franchise.
The Raiders have not been to the playoffs with Adams on the roster and they did trade his good friend and college teammate Derek Carr after just one season together. While there have been frustrations, most notably in the Netflix show “Receiver”, Adams says he’s happy with the Raiders.
The fire was sparked by former wide receiver Desean Jackson who during an appearance on “The Herd” with Collin Cowherd said he and Davante Adams talked and that the receiver was not happy in Vegas.
On Wednesday, Adams called out the former NFL wide receiver calling it ‘complete BS’.
“The facts are the facts and that is not a fact,” Adams said about Jackson’s comments. “I’ve probably spoken to Desean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him ever and I put that on my kids. I have never spoken with him about anything. The only person I really talk to about my feelings, in general, is my wife probably, and she ain’t out there leaking anything and dropping stuff like that in the media…”
“Whatever has been put out there lately has been complete BS,” Adams continued. “I’ve never talked to Desean Jackson about one thing.”

We have no choice but to believe Davante Adams
The episode on “Receiver” where Adams was caught on camera saying “I gotta get the f— outta here before I lose my f—ing life. I ain’t never been hit this many f—ing times in my career. Every game, I get f—ed up.” was not a good look for the receiver.
However, it doesn’t tell the full story and it was mid-game when frustrations were boiling. The Raiders did win that game against the Patriots eventually, and going into this offseason Adams seems like he is excited for the team’s core.
The only thing that will eventually clear up all the rumors will be winning. And if the Raiders get off to a slow start, the rumors of Adams and trade talk will continue to heat up.
